What Is My Casita?
About two years ago, upon my arrival in Arizona, I bought House Hack. I wrote quite a lot about it here and on BiggerPockets, and I wrote a book about it called House Hacking, which sells on Amazon.
To make a long story short, I fixed up the mother-in-law suite, which we call casita out West, and have been renting it short-term on AirBnB and VRBO ever since. It doesn’t pay for my entire mortgage, but it comes close!
Anyhow, I’ve reserved it for one lucky PSW attendee.
Why Is This a Good Thing?
Well, naturally this person will save money on lodging, which doesn’t hurt!
But more importantly, as it happens, Sam and I are currently under contract on another apartment deal – how would you like an unrestricted look into what I do, and how I do it, in real time?
