I don’t know why things happen as they do, but my life everything seems to happen in pairs. Last week I shared with you a podcast entitled Podcast – Creative Financing for Multiple Investment Properties with Ben Leybovich and the Louisville Gal. I thought this was a good show with lots of actionable content, and judging by the traffic numbers you agreed – click on the link if you haven’t heard it yet.
While in this podcast I discussed some very pertinent and specific content, this show was meant for the beginner to intermediate investor. If you have made no Real Estate Investments, or perhaps own a few rentals, there was a lot of valuable information for you in this show. Today, however, I want to present to you another kind of show.
Les Weitman has a podcast entitled Life On Pire, which is aimed at Accredited Investors. The intention of Life On Pire is to serve as a sort of a platform for people who want to invest capital into managed syndicated real estate investments to meet folks like myself, who have the knowledge to be able to find, structure, and manage acquisitions.
In case you don’t know, what defines someone as an accredited investor, according to the Securities and Exchange commission, is either having had an individual income in excess of $200,000 in each of the two most recent years and reasonably expect an individual income in excess of $200,000 in the current year; or you and yournet worth jointly with you spouse in excess of $1,000,000 excluding your personal residence. These folks are the intended audience of Les’ podcast.
Anyhow – Les called me a few months ago and invited me on his show. He had heard both of my podcast appearances on BiggerPockets (Show 14 and Show 61), and felt that bringing me on would represent good value to his audience. This is a longer show at about 71 minutes, and the subject matter gets to be a bit more advanced, especially later in the show. If you are just starting out, some of this stuff may be down the road for you. But, if you are serious about real estate investing, you should know this!
